Hi. It’s Glen Depke from Depke Wellness, and I’m here to talk about a part of keto that you probably haven’t thought of, or if you’ve thought about it, you might be doing in a way that really isn’t providing the benefit that you’re truly looking for. And what I’m talking about is the recognition that when you’re on the keto plan, you’re obviously eating a high amount of fat, and you’re also typically eating either a low to a moderate amount of protein.

Now, one of the constant and consistent problems that I’ve seen for people through the years, on the keto diet, is you simply don’t break down your food properly, so you’re not digesting, absorbing, and assimilating the nutrients properly, and so what most people do is they’ll think, “Well, I’ve heard that it’s a good idea to take digestive enzymes,” so you run to the local health food store, or any random store that you’re going to go to, to pick up a digestive enzyme.

Now, see, what most people don’t know is that most digestive enzymes on the market today are actually plant-based enzymes. Now, what’s interesting, when you think about natural food sources, every natural food on this planet, has within it, the necessary enzymes that break down what is actually in that food. So, if you think about an enzyme, most people have heard of bromelain. Bromelain is an awesome enzyme, and do you know what it’s best for? It’s best at breaking down pineapple because that’s what bromelain comes from, just as papain is best for breaking down papaya. So when you’re on the keto diet and you’re using these plant-based enzymes to break down your animal fat and your animal protein, you’re not really getting the full benefit that you need.

So, when you’re using a digestive enzyme while you’re on the keto diet, you want it to not only have the good quality plant-based enzymes that will actually provide still a benefit for you, but you also want the necessary animal-based enzymes to be able to break down the animal foods that you’re consuming. And when you think about just the idea that, you know, to take a plant-based enzyme to break down animal-based foods, it really, it doesn’t even make sense to say it, yet we do it all the time.

So, that’s the reason why I do recommend the Prime Enzyme Support when you’re on the keto diet because this has both the high level plant-based enzymes that you need to break down your plant-based foods, but it also has the animal-based enzymes, the pancreatin and the ox bile to help you break down the animal proteins and the animal fats so you can actually get the full benefit of the keto diet that you’re on today.

Thank you so much for your time, and enjoy your Prime Enzyme Support.
